Your Emergency Guide
|
An emergency is any situation that poses immediate risk to life, health, environment, or property. Generally an emergency requires urgent attention and intervention to prevent the situation from worsening. The key to surviving an emergency is preparedness. Even when there is sign of danger, you should be prepared by having an emergency kit, radio, and light. You should also know where emergency exits are whenever you are inside a building or a vehicle. In case disaster strikes, seek help from emergency services such as the police, the fire service, the paramedics, the Coastguard, and many other organizations. Your family and community should also be aware of the safety measures and precautions to take to avoid major damages. |
